Is it important to have an RSS Feed?

RSS feeds are very important for the following reasons: 

1. The RSS feed allows people to stream, download, and subscribe to your show.
2. It allows you to distribute your podcast to other platforms like Gaana, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, etc. The episodes also get automatically distributed on all these platforms once you publish them because they share the same RSS.
3. Most apps can subscribe to and download and display info from RSS feeds because it is a standard.
