Through Hubhopper Marketplace, we provide our creators with opportunities to monetize their podcast through simple and easy steps.
The whole monetization process can be roughly divided in three parts - submitting your podcast, connecting with an advertiser, and delivering the results.
Submitting your podcast
What is the criteria to submit a podcast?
To submit your podcast you must have a minimum of 3k listens and at least 6 episodes published. Once you fulfill these terms, you can register your podcast on Hubhopper Marketplace right away and our team will review your podcast submission.
How can I submit my podcast?
You can submit your podcast on Hubhopper Marketplace but before doing so make sure that you meet the basic criteria stated above.
If you meet the given criteria then you can submit your podcast by following the steps below:
- Step 1 - Visit the Hubhopper Marketplace.
- Step 2 - Click on “Submit Podcast” from the top bar.
- Step 3 - You will be directed to the podcast submission form. Here, you will have to fill in important details like your name, email ID, RSS feed, desired CPM and more.
- Step 4 - Submit the details.
The system will receive your request and we’ll review your podcast submission. Once you pass the evaluation, you will be notified through an email and your podcast will be listed in the Hubhopper Marketplace directory for potential advertisers to browse through.
Connecting with a sponsor
How will I know if an advertiser shows interest in sponsoring my podcast?
When advertisers are interested in sponsoring a podcast, they connect with us through Hubhopper Marketplace with all the details like the number of episodes they want to sponsor, number of listens they are expecting and more. The Hubhopper team then informs you about the potential advertiser with all the details through email.
Can I negotiate the terms with a sponsor?
Yes, you can negotiate the terms such as the length of the host-feed campaign, CPM and more. The Hubhopper team will act as the mediator and relay the terms of the creator and advertiser to the opposite party. All the conversations will take place through emails.
Delivering the results
How will I know what to say?
Advertisers will provide details to the creators regarding their brand or product and what exactly they want to convey to the listeners. Also a script will be provided by the sponsors that creators will have to follow.
Where will I have to place the ad in my content?
Since we are working on Host-feed campaigns, usually the ads are mentioned in the first five minutes of the episode. These ad campaigns don’t include pre-rolls or mid-rolls.
