What are Hubhopper Podcast Awards?

Hubhopper Podcast Awards is an annual celebration of the creativity and endeavor of all PODCASTARS that takes place on International Podcast Day.

What is the aim of the awards?

The Hubhopper Podcast Awards aim to support and recognize the best of shows curated in India by giving them accolades, promotional benefits, and goodies.

What are the eligibility criteria?

All podcasts, irrespective of hosting platforms, are allowed to take part. Here are the eligibility criteria:

1. Your podcast should have at least 7 episodes.
2. The latest episode should be published after January 1st, 2023.
3. A podcast can be nominated for a single award category only.
4. Podcast Youtube links will not be accepted

What is the Rising Star Award?

To recognize the best new show for the year 2023

1. Your podcast should have at least 7 episodes.
2. Podcasts must be published on or after January 1st, 2023.

How many podcasts can I nominate?

You can nominate only one podcast under one award category. Nominate here

I’ve submitted my application. What next?

Our team will review your podcast and you will be notified if it’s been approved shortly. Once done, your podcast will be open for taking in votes from September 13th onwards.

How can I get votes for my podcast?

Along with your nomination approval, you will receive a voting link through an email that you can share with your fans & network. 

Voting lines will be made available on this web page from September 13th onwards.

How do I know which award category best fits my podcast genre?

Best Business & Entrepreneurship Podcast

• Podcast must cover business & educational topics

Rising Star Award (Launched in 2023)

• Podcast must be created in 2023, with at least 7 episodes

Best Documentary & News Podcast

• Non-fiction podcast

Best Self-Love & Motivation Podcast

• Podcast that covers aspirational & social aspects

Best Health & Fitness Podcast

• Podcast that covers anything regarding physical & mental health

Best Storytelling Podcast (Fiction)

• Fiction storytelling podcast

Best Interview Podcast

• Podcast with interviewees on majority of its episodes

Best Family Podcast

• Podcast regarding parenting & kids

Best Regional Language Podcast

• Podcast that is neither Hindi nor English

How to win?

Once your podcast nomination has been approved, you will have to collect as many votes as possible for your show between September 13th to 20th.

The top 3 podcasts with the highest votes from each award category will qualify for the final round, where our esteemed jury members will review and pick a winner from each award category.

Are there any checks with voting?

Yes, all voters will have to verify before casting their votes to prevent spam & bot votes from entering the tally.

Are there any registration fees?

There are no registration fees.
