Hubhopper studio maintains a few checks to ensure that the audio file you are uploading, meets the requirements of all podcast platforms that our system distributes across.
If your podcast does not meet the right requirements, various errors will be showcased based on the error
- Wrong file extension
- Wrong file format
- Wrong audio bit rate
Kindly ensure you meet the following requirements to successfully upload your audio file:
- Audio formats: MP3, MPEG, MP4, M4A.
If your audio file is not in one of these formats, then kindly convert it as per the above. You can upload your audio file on the Hubhopper studio editor and 'download it as MP3'.
- Audio size limit: 200MB
If your audio file exceeds this file size limit, you can look at converting your audio format to MP3. After conversion, if your audio file size still exceeds the limit, you can look at compressing your file size. There are a lot of file compressing tools online that you can utilize to help you with this.
- Audio bit rate range: 64 to 320 kbps
If you audio file bit rate does not meet the above range, you can look at fixing it by simply ensuring the bit rate meets the above range while exporting the audio file from your audio software. You can also fix this issue by using online tools and adjusting the bit rate as per the requirement, or you can simply upload your audio file on the Hubhopper studio editor and 'download it as MP3'.
If you still face issues after meeting all the above requirements, kindly write to us at support@hubhopper.com
