You can simply login to your Apple Podcasts Connect account and update your podcast RSS feed field section with your now new Hubhopper RSS feed.
If you had not previously claimed your podcast on Apple podcasts, you can do so by following these steps:
- Step 1: Create an Apple ID.
Once you've created a new Apple ID, you’ll need to authenticate it by signing in to any Apple services such as Apple Music, the App Store, or the iTunes Store and adding a valid payment method. No transaction will occur until you make one so you don't need to worry about it
- Step 2: Once that's done, you can log in to Podcasts Connect and login with your Apple ID.
- Step 3: Click on the (+) in the top left corner to add a podcast/Claim a Podcast. A URL column will come up.
- Step 4: Put your RSS in the field and click on ‘Validate’ on the top right.
Once done, you can access your podcast on Apple podcasts. You will then need to update the RSS feed field section with your new Hubhopper RSS feed.
This will notify both platforms that you have a new RSS feed generated for the same podcast which you had previously distributed. This will allow both platforms to maintain your podcast exisitng subscribers and start passing accurate perofrmance data to your Hubhopper analytical dashboard.
