Podcast distribution stands as a foundational element of podcasting. However, its technical aspects can often be bewildering for podcasters. To address this intricacy and provide clearer insights into the various processes involved in distributing your podcast, Hubhopper has designed a user interface that facilitates simpler navigation and management of your podcast distribution.
Types of Distribution on Hubhopper
- Automatic Distribution: Hubhopper can automatically distribute your podcast to a chosen set of platforms according to your preferences.
- Manual Distribution: For some specific platforms, you'll need to distribute your podcast manually. But don't worry, we'll walk you through the step-by-step distribution process for each of these platforms. Learn more.
Automatic Distribution
Automated Podcast Link Retrieval
While Hubhopper can automate the distribution of your podcast for selected platforms, it may not retrieve the final podcast URL for all of them. Currently, Hubhopper is capable of retrieving your podcast URL link for the following platforms:
- Hubhopper
- Spotify
- Amazon Music
- JioSaavn
Please be aware that it may take 2-3 days for your podcast to become visible on the chosen platforms. If your podcast is not accessible after this timeframe, you can click 'redistribute' to initiate a refresh of the process.
Manual Podcast Link Retrieval
For the other platforms on the automatic distribution list, while the system handles the distribution automatically, you'll need to visit them manually to fetch your podcast URL link. Subsequently, you can save your links for the respective platforms by selecting 'Add link'.
- TuneIn
- PocketCasts
- PodcastIndex
- Listen Notes
- Gaana
Manual Distribution
Here is a list of platforms where you'll need to manually distribute your podcast RSS feed and retrieve your podcast URL link independently. However, we have a step-by-step guide available to assist you with each platform.
- Podkicker
- Apple Podcasts
- Castbox
- Overcast
- Player Fm
- Blubrry
- Youtube Music
We suggest that after the distribution is completed, you save your podcast URL links for the respective platforms in your distribution dashboard.
