When you're setting up your Microsite, you have the option of setting up your custom domain. Here are the steps you can follow to configure your CNAME.
Log in to Your Domain Provider's Dashboard
Go to the website of your domain provider. Log in to your account using your credential
Locate DNS Settings or Domain Management
Look for an option like 'DNS Settings,' 'Domain Management,' or similar. This is where you can manage your domain's DNS records.
Find the CNAME Section
Within the DNS settings, locate the section for CNAME records. It might be labeled as 'CNAME,' 'Alias,' or 'Canonical Name.'
Add a New CNAME Record
Click on the option to add a new CNAME record. In the 'Name' or 'Host' field, enter the subdomain you want to point to the podcasting platform (e.g., 'microsite' or 'www'). In the 'Value' or 'Points to' field, enter the domain provided by the podcasting platform
Save Changes
Save or apply the changes. This action may be named differently depending on your domain provider.
Contact Support if Needed
If problems persist, reach out to Hubhopper's support (support@hubhopper.com) or your domain provider's support for assistance.
