The CNAME feature allows you to add a custom domain to your microsite. To configure your CNAME, follow these steps:
- Log in to Your Domain Provider's Dashboard: Access your domain provider's website and log in using your credentials.
- Locate DNS Settings or Domain Management: Look for options like 'DNS Settings,' 'Domain Management,' or similar. This is where you manage your domain's DNS records.
- Find the CNAME Section: Within the DNS settings, find the section specifically designated for CNAME records. It might be labeled as 'CNAME,' 'Alias,' or 'Canonical Name.'
- Add a New CNAME Record: Click to add a new CNAME record. In the 'Name' or 'Host' field, input the desired subdomain (e.g., 'microsite' or 'www'). In the 'Value' or 'Points to' field, enter the domain provided by the podcasting platform.
- Save Changes: Save or apply the changes made. The specific action might have a different name depending on your domain provider.
- Contact Support if Needed: Should you encounter persistent issues, seek assistance from Hubhopper's support team (support@hubhopper.com) or reach out to your domain provider's support for further guidance.
