Dynamic Audio Insertion is a technology that allows podcast creators to insert and update audios in their episodes in real-time. Unlike static ads, which are baked into the episode and remain unchanged, Dynamic Audio Insertion can be swapped in and out, ensuring that listeners hear the most relevant and timely advertisements whenever they play an episode.
How to Create a Campaign
To set up a Dynamic Audio Insertion campaign, you will first need to subscribe to our GROWTH PLAN. Once subscribed, Go to your Campaign tab on the left hand-side of your podcast dashboard and click on 'Create Campaign'
Step 1: Add Campaign Name & Description
Provide the details of your campaign, including the sponsor and the specifics of the campaign deal. This information helps other team members understand the campaign.
Step 2: Upload Ad Audio Files
While producing the ad copy, ensure the audio files meet these specifications:
- File size: Not more than 5 MB
- Playtime: Not more than 1 minute
Upload the produced ad audio files to your Audio Library.
Step 3: Choose Ad Positioning
Decide where the ad will play in your episodes:
- Pre-Roll: The ad will play at the beginning of the episode.
- Post-Roll: The ad will play at the end of the episode.
- The number of audio files per Ad slot is limited 3 for preroll and 3 for postroll
Step 4: Select Episodes for Ad Placement
Choose the episodes where the ad will be played:
- All Episodes: The ad will automatically play on the latest 50 episodes of your podcast.
- Specific Episodes: Select specific episodes for the ad to play on
Step 5: Activate the Campaign
Once everything is set up, click the 'activate' button on your episode campaign dashboard to publish the campaign live. You can create up to 10 campaigns for a podcast. However, you can have only one campaign Active at a time for a podcast.
