Hubhopper offers seamless automatic distribution to Apple Podcasts, making it easier than ever to get your show on one of the world’s biggest podcast platforms. Follow this step-by-step guide to publish your podcast on Apple Podcasts.
Step 1: Create and Set Up Your Podcast
Before you publish, ensure your podcast is set up on Hubhopper:
- Create your podcast – Add podcast details, cover art, and at least one episode.
- Review your settings – Make sure all required fields, including metadata, are filled in.
Step 2: Enable Automatic Distribution to Apple Podcasts
When publishing your podcast:
- Navigate to the Publish section in your Hubhopper account.
- Under Automatic Distribution Platforms, you’ll see a list of available platforms.
- Simply tick the checkbox for Apple Podcasts to enable automatic distribution.
- Click Publish, and our system will handle the rest!
💡 Important: Automatic distribution is available only on Hubhopper’s paid plans. If you’re on a free plan, consider upgrading to unlock this feature.
Once done, your podcast will be available on Apple Podcasts, and we’ll retrieve your Apple Podcasts show URL for you.
Step 3: Claim Your Show on Apple Podcasts Connect
To gain access to additional Apple Podcasts features, you can claim your show:
- Go to Apple Podcasts Connect and create an account (if you don’t have one).
- At the bottom of the page, under More Actions, click Claim Existing Show.
- Follow the prompts to find your show and generate a token. The token is valid for seven days.
Step 4: Add the Apple Podcasts Claim Token in Hubhopper
- In your Hubhopper account, go to the Distribution section.
- Under Manual Distribution, scroll to the bottom and find "Apple Podcasts Claim Token."
- Paste the claim token from Apple Podcasts Connect.
- Click Save, and you're all set! 🎉
Your show is now published and claimed on Apple Podcasts! 🎧
